Our unique perspective is forged at the intersection of rigorous environmental science and visual art. Owner and lead photographer, Anthony (Tony) Nguy-Robertson, brings an extraordinary depth of experience to the lens, transforming scientific precision into evocative imagery.

The foundation of our approach was shaped by his early career, where he cultivated patience and detailed observation working in zoos, and developed clarity and communication skills as a high school teacher.

This groundwork led to advanced academic training, culminating in a Master's in Geology and a Ph.D. in Natural Resources, both focused on remote sensing. His graduate research was highly practical, utilizing specialized cameras and sensors to conduct vital environmental monitoring, specifically mapping harmful algal blooms and monitoring crop health. For the past decade, Tony continued conducting applied science, dedicating himself to generating and improving maps that help decision-makers with topics ranging from water security and environmentally driven diseases to navigation safety.

Technical precision is at the core of our art. We apply the same scientific skills used for mapping the unseen to revealing the beauty of the world. Our photography combines a scientist’s knowledge of light, structure, and detail with an artist’s eye for composition, ensuring every image is both technically precise and deeply moving.
